Cosmetics Europe – The Personal Care Association has launched a new consumer website “colour well- colour wise”. The website gives clear information about how to colour hair safely. The website has been designed to be very user-friendly and engaging for all consumers of hair colorant products.
This initiative, launched by the European cosmetics association, gives clear and simple information. The website is divided into 2 main areas:
Colour well - Tips & tricks about colouring your hair
and
Colour Wise – Be Safe.
The main focus of the section “colour wise” is allergy. Consumers may have heard about some allergic reactions to hair colorants. The section aims to give facts about allergy and the Allergy Alert Test. Extensive advice on this is already given on all hair colorant product packaging and the enclosed leaflet. The website communicates this information in an easily accessible format. Users can click on frequently asked questions covering a wide range of areas, including the use of henna tattoos and hair colorants.
